Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Allocio is a smart finance tracker operated by DaneBuilds (Agboola Daniel) (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy covers allocio.vercel.app and the Allocio application.

2. What we collect

• Account data: email, password (hashed by our auth provider), display name, and preferences (currency, timezone, templates).
• Finance records you enter: sections/buckets, categories, income, expenses, notes, and optional receipt images you upload.
• Usage data: basic technical logs (IP, device/browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.
• Payment-related data: when you buy Allocio Pro, checkout is handled by our Merchant of Record / payment partner (e.g. Lemon Squeezy). They process card details; we typically receive order status, email, and plan entitlement — not your full card number.

3. How we use data

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve Allocio
• Authenticate you and protect accounts
• Process subscriptions and fulfill Pro access
• Send transactional email (confirmations, security, billing)
• Send optional product updates you opt into
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Sharing

We share data only with processors needed to run Allocio, such as:

• Hosting / database / auth (e.g. Supabase, Vercel)
• Email delivery (e.g. Resend)
• Payment / Merchant of Record partners for Allocio Pro checkout (e.g. Lemon Squeezy)

These providers process data under their own policies and our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Storage & security

Application data is stored with trusted infrastructure providers. We use access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and standard security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Retention

We keep account and finance data while your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons (including billing records held by payment partners).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data, or object to certain processing. Email danielbuilds1@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

8. Children

Allocio is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as Allocio evolves. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
